Classic Island Gypsy (44 feet) for sale (50% share or full)

Someplace Else is a 44 feet Island Gypsy, built in 1977, and one of the first hulls made by Kong & Halvorsen in Hong Kong. She is entirely made of wood. The boat has recently completed a complete restoration, and its engines only have 200 hours each on them.

The only reason we are considering selling the 50% share in the boat, is that our family does not have enough time to take her out sufficiently. As usual you have to see her to appreciate her, but her lines are stunning, and she is a great companion to take you out into the Sai Kung waters and beyond.

She is moored in one of Hong Kong’s most beautiful Marina’s on a finger pier, and a boat boy keeps her in pristine state. We will spare you the various technical details, but one can say she has virtually every item one would expect, like a Genset, and air-conditioning systems that keep her dry and cool. She sleeps comfortably 5 adults in 3 cabins.

As you will appreciate, we are looking for someone who has the same passion for a traditional cruiser, and would treat her the same we are. The 50% share would give you one day each weekend (we can alternate Sundays and Saturdays, so each party gets 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays).
