We are looking for a partner for our 49’ Halverson Island Gypsy pleasure motor boat
• The boat can be driven with a class 2 licence (under 15 metres)
• Boat powered by twin 435 hp caterpillars
• If the partner does not drive the boat a boat boy is available for hire. If you wish to get certified, we can help with driving practice and exam theory.

• Paddling pool, water toys and body boards on board
• Moored in Aberdeen typhoon shelter easily accessible by sampan
• Boat is prepared for you and made ready to go before each trip and cleaned and re-covered for you after each trip.

• Availability: minimum of 3 trips per month
• Commitment: the partnership would entail a 1 year commitment
• Cost: HK$2,500 - 5,000 per month depending on whether a weekday-only partner, evening-only or full partner. Partners are charged at cost for fuel use.

Classic BlueWater Cruising Yacht

Built in Sydney this magnificent yacht has travelled the oceans and seen the world. From the registration documents I have for her she has been registered in Australia, United Kingdom and the United States.

In 2006 she completed a 2 year renovation which was so extensive that only the hull and the steering wheel remains original. The hull was sand blasted inside and out and anything less than 7mm thickness cut out and re-placed with compatible corten steel. To all extents and purposes she’s a new boat with her new interior, mechanical and electrical systems, new mast, rigging, winches, etc etc but also a classic and one that gets noticed on the dock.

Having lived on boats for 20 years I do believe that boats have personality, and I owe a lot to this fantastic girl who has just returned me safely back from a wonderful 15 month holiday sailing around the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. She is in pristine condition and ready to continue on her adventures. It’s time to hand over the reins so someone else can live their dream.
