Kate Ward English Tutor

I am a professional tutor who can support your international child in English by preparing for their IGCSE's or supporting them in the British curriculum. I currently support students in Hong Kong, UK and Australia (Grade 5-13). I have 16 years experience as an English Language and Literature GCSE teacher (2 years Australia and 12 years London, 2 years France). I was a Deputy Headteacher in London with a certificate of Headship (Principal level) who trained English teachers across a network of schools. I am approachable and friendly - building lasting relationships with students to help build their confidence. I have experience in tutoring younger students - supporting with homework, language analysis (preparation for GCSE, exams, HSC). I am also phonics trained, a previous SENCo and previous Head of English across three schools.
