Our vision is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, especially among English-speakers in Hong Kong. To Know God We want everyone to be clear about the basics of the Christian faith. Through God’s Word, we continue to grow in knowledge of Christ and live according to it. To Grow Together Individually and as a church, we want to continually mature in our faith. With our God-given gifts, we love and serve one another, and bring glory to God. To Go into the World We work to reach out to people in Hong Kong and beyond, proclaiming the good news of Jesus and demonstrating the love of Christ through acts of mercy.

Calvary Church is Full Gospel and Charismatic in both doctrine and practice, an English-speaking international church, and is affiliated with Praise Chapel of California. We would love for you to join us in worshipping God. There are many different services and meetings, each designed to fit different cultures, ages, and personalities.

We are one of the largest of its kind in this part of the world. We have a large stock and supply of religious books in Chinese and English including Bibles, Scriptural Readings, Sermon and Homilies, Spiritual Readings, Prayer Books, Catechetics, Children and Teenagers Books, and various topics on Catholic Faith. ? Catholic Centre was established in 1945 by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. It was the first multi-services oriented centre of the Catholic Church in the Central District on Hong Kong Island. It is situated right in the heart of the commercial and banking area of Hong Kong. The Chapel and the bookstore are frequented by hundreds of visitors everyday. It is only one minute's walk from the MTR Central Station and 3 - 7 minutes from the Star Ferry.

The Roman Catholic Church established a mission in Hong Kong in 1841. It was classified as a patriarchal parish in 1874, and it was designated a parish in 1946. There are about 384,000 Catholics in Hong Kong. The priesthood serving Catholics includes 296 priests, 68 monks, and 474 nuns. There are 51 parishes in Hong Kong, including 40 churches, 31 chapels and 26 auditoriums. The mass sacrifices are conducted in Cantonese, but three-fifths of the parishes also use English and sometimes Filipino. The diocese of Hong Kong has its own administrative organization and maintains close ties with the Pope and parishes around the world. The diocese of Hong Kong, like other Catholic communities around the world, uses the same Bible, doctrines, worship rituals and structures.

The Church of All Nations (CAN) is a vibrant congregation of people in the midst of one of the most unique parts of God's world. People who affiliate with our English-speaking parish come from 12-15 countries, and just as many Christian denominational backgrounds. CAN is located on the southern part of Hong Kong Island in Repulse Bay, on the grounds of Hong Kong International School. The congregation formed over thirty years ago by the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. We are served by Pastor Dale Koehneke, a 1977 graduate of Christ Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Community Church is an international and English speaking community of faith. We are located in the heart of Hong Kong, only 1 minute from the Sheung Wan MTR, 3 minutes from the mid-levels escalators and 5 to 10 minutes¹ walk from the Central or Macau Ferry Terminals. We seek to follow Christ¹s words to Œgo and make disciples of all nations¹. Our hope is that in being changed through worship and community, we can bring change into our world ­ especially our everyday Œworlds¹. Our desire is to love God and others through Jesus Christ with the Bible as our guide. In April 1988, about 70 people from the Kowloon Tong Alliance Church began an English-speaking worship service at the YMCA at Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. The name Evangelical Community Church (ECC) was chosen to reflect the interdenominational character of the fellowship as well as the shared vision to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the Asian and ex-pat English speaking community in Hong Kong. Our morning worship services are usually held in the 4/F Assembly Hall of the Salisbury YMCA, located at: 41 Salisbury Road Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon

The creation of the Baptist Church in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong began with the initiative of the Missionary Department of the Hong Kong Baptist Association. In the early 1970s, the city of Sanshilou was identified and purchased. At that time, the Leighton Road Baptist Church, now the Aiqun Road Baptist Church, learned that the Gospel Church in Kennedy Town had been opened, and applied to serve as the Mother Church of the Society, fully supporting the work of the Society. In 1972, Chen Jinhong preached for Malaysia to come to Hong Kong as the director of the church. The opening ceremony was held on November 4, 1973. In 1980, Rev. Chen Jinhong resigned. In 1983, Mr. Chen Huojiang was appointed as the preacher and he became a church on November 13th of the same year.

We are an English-speaking international congregation living in Hong Kong. Jamia Masjid is the first Masjid in Hong Kong. According to the official records at Antiquities and Monuments Office the Muslim Mosque known as Lascar temple was built in 1849. This is the first mosque in Hong Kong. The Mosque is of rectangular shape with an arched main entrance and arched windows of Arabic style on all sides. Extension of the Mosque took place in 1915, and the pillar was retained. Minutes of the Executive Council Meeting held on 25 October 1844 contains the earliest record regarding Jamia Mosque. Some of the few Muslim firms from the Indian Subcontinent who established their businesses in Hong Kong in 1841, applied to the Government for building a mosque in Hong Kong to fulfil the religious needs of the Muslims who were growing in number. An indenture note issued by the Supreme Court of Hong Kong on 23rd September, 1850 states that the Jamia Mosque land was officially registered in 1850 and the Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund also formed in 1850 became its management organization. All other records pertaining to the Mosque were destroyed during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong during World War II (1939-1945). However, it is a fact that Muslim troops of the Indian Army, forming a large portion of Hong Kong’s garrison, arrived in Hong Kong in 1842. Some Muslim businessmen from India, Shanghai and other areas arrived soon afterwards. The treaty for the 46,860 sq. ft. plot of land was granted on December 23, 1850. The lease is for a period of 999 years effective December 3, 1849, the date of the Treaty states the land was occupied and the first Mosque must have been constructed upon it soon afterwards. This Mosque was demolished in 1915 and the foundation stone of the present Mosque was laid on 3rd Shawwaal 1333 Hijri (Augast 15, 1915) by Nakoda Suliman Curim Mohamed. The entire cost of the new Mosque was paid by Haji Mohamed Essack Elias of the Memon Community, Bombay, India. Its Architect was Mr. A. Abdool Rahim. The Mosque is approximately 70 ft. long, 40 ft. wide and 20 ft. high. It has a portico with a minaret above. Despite its age, the Mosque is structurally stable and more than 400 people can offer their prayer inside the hall. Jamia Mosque was awarded the status of Grade 1 in the list of Hong Kong’s historical buildings by the Government of Hong Kong SAR in May 2010. Major repair and renovation works have been carried out by the Board of Trustees with generous financial assistance from the Hong Kong Government’s Development Bureau in 2011-12 and 2012-13. Five times prayers are held at the Mosque and there is a large congregation on Fridays and Eidain. During the month of Ramadan Travih prayers are held and Iftar is also served.

Rosary Church in Tsim Sha Tsui was built in 1905 with a generous donation from a Portuguese Catholic, Antonio Simplicio Gomes, M.D. His wish was to commemorate his parents by offering this church to Our Lady of Pompeii. Pompeii was an ancient Roman town situated near Naples, Italy. With the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. the then 600-year-old town with its 20,000 inhabitants was buried under thick volcano ash and forgotten for about 1700 years. Upon excavation in 1748, two-thirds of the town emerged as a witness to the light and shadows of the Roman civilization.

We are a community devoted to Jesus Christ, who share his gospel, calling on people to follow him, and seek the flourishing of Hong Kong. As an Anglican Church, we hold to the beliefs described in the historical creeds, the Book of Common Prayer, and the Thirty-Nine Articles with their reminders of the great Reformation principles of ‘Christ Alone, Scripture Alone, Faith Alone.’

The Hong Kong community has been witnessing the development of St Margaret’s Church since 1920. In 1920, when Hong Kong was still an Apostolic Vicariate, the titular bishop Dominico Pozzoni wrote to the Hong Kong government, requesting for a parcel of land in Happy Valley for the building of a church in place of St. Francis’ Church in Wanchai, due to an increasing number of parishioners. In the same year, the Holy See was to canonize St. Margaret. As such, the titular bishop decided to choose St. Margaret to be the Patron Saint of this church, the very first church in the East to have a female saint as her patron.

The Alliance Filipino Fellowship ministers to Filipino-speaking members of our congregation living here in Hong Kong each Saturday mornings from 10:45AM – 12:30PM, and on Sunday afternoons from 2:00PM – 3:30PM at AIC hall. Fellowship and activities include Bible Study, small groups, prayer, ministry training, outreach and fellowship. During public holidays we’ll offer hiking, bbq’s, parties and tons of photo opportunities! We love being together and invite you to join us!

The Big Buddha, also known as Tian Tan Buddha, is famed as the most iconic attraction of Lantau. Sitting next to the Po Lin Monastery, it is only a 10-minute walk away from Ngong Ping Village. The majestic outdoor bronze Buddha statue sits solemnly atop the peak of Mount Muk Yue. It is seated south and facing North towards Beijing, the capital of China. Divided into two parts, the statue’s body is 26.4m tall and 34m in total measuring from the lotus throne and the base. It was cast with 250 tonnes of bronze and built over 12 years. The statue was modelled after Siddhartha, who achieved enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. The “imparting fearlessness” mudra of the right hand indicates compassion to save all sentient beings from their sufferings; the “fulfilling wishes” mudra of the left hand resting on the lap, implies the vow to grant blessing and happiness to all.

The simple and elegant design of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Hong Kong has witnessed the vicissitudes of Hong Kong society for more than a century. The Church of the Immaculate Conception was originally built on Wellington Street in 1843. The church was patronized by Zhu Rong in 1859, was severely burned, and was later rebuilt. In 1881, the church authorities purchased the site on Caine Road to build the current cathedral, considering that the neighbourhood was no longer suitable for religious gatherings. The church on Wellington Street was easily dismantled after being bought by a merchant in 1886. The current cathedral was held for the first time on December 7, 1888, on the eve of the Festival of the Immaculate Conception, and was officially opened for use the next day.

There are five worship services each Sunday, allowing believers to live a life of collective worship, worshipping God by singing, chanting, thinking about the Word of God, and caring about the family of God. The morning worship was held in the auditorium on the first floor and started from 8.30am to 9.30am. It was lectured by our pastor, fellow minister, and special lecturer.
