Information:
This is a branch of the Hong Kong Museum of History. It is the site where a four chambered Han tomb is preserved. This tomb was discovered in 1955 during the construction of the Lei Cheng Uk Resettlement Area when fifty-eight items were excavated.
According to the structure, tomb findings, the calligraphy and content of the inscriptions on tomb bricks, it is believed that the tomb was built in the Eastern Han dynasty (25-220AD). The tomb is the earliest preserved architecture in Hong Kong and since 1988 it has been declared a gazette monument to be permanently preserved.
