Completed in 1846, Flagstaff House was originally the home of the Commander-in-Chief of the British forces, and today is Hong Kong's oldest surviving colonial building. This white-washed gem has been declared an historical monument. The core collection of the museum, teaware donated by a local collector, the late Dr. K.S. Lo, includes many pieces of Chinese origin. The K.S.Lo Gallery houses a collection of rare ceramics and Chinese seals.
