Improvisational theatre is a form of theatre that involves reacting and creating scenes in the moment, typically in response to suggestions from a live audience. The Hong Kong Improv League welcomes actors of all abilities and ages to be part of a fun and inspiring environment where they will learn the fundamental skills of improvisational acting. Students will learn to create well-structured scenes ‘on the spot’; explore and expand their creativity in a safe and fun atmosphere; develop teamwork and listening skills; gain self-confidence; and develop important life skills, including mutual-respect, cooperation, humour and openness. At the end of the workshop, there will be an opportunity for students to audition to be part of an improv team that will stage regular live performances. Improv workshops are held at “The Green Room” in Causeway Bay.
