Choi Hung MTR Station. Take No.1A minibus to Sai Kung, then No.94 bus bound for Wong Shek Pier. Alight at the Sai Kung Country Park visitor's centre at Pak Tam Chung and follow the signs to the beach. It takes about three hours, so pack light.

Hong Kong's best surf surrounded by glorious hills, can be found at Tai Long Wan Beach in Sai Kung Country Park. There are no lifeguards, but there are a number of restaurants nearby. There are also two beaches in Clear Water Bay, which offer great fun and lots facilities.
