The Association was founded in the early 1960s and is the main organising body for sailing in Hong Kong. It is affiliated to regional and international organisations and the Hong Kong Olympic Committee, and represents the sailing community on nautical matters, including new marinas, water safety and licensing. Members include individuals, marinas and over 30 clubs, a constituency of more than 50,000. It provides certificate programmes and opportunities for people of all ages to take part in the sport. |
