Established in 1991, the Unicycling Society of Hong Kong (USHK) conducts training courses and prepares Hong
Kong residents of any nationality to perform locally and to represent Hong Kong at international unicycling events.
The USHK is sanctioned by the International Unicycling Federation (IUF), and has a decade of local parade and show experience, as well as impressive showings at 5 world unicycling meets. Canada - 1992, Germany - 1998, Scotland - 1998, Beijing - 2000, and Seattle, USA - 2002.
From beginner to expert, students from the age of 5 to 75 come down once a week to the Wanchai waterfront to practice their skills on one wheel. Events include artistic cycling, unicycle racing, mountain unicycling, and long - distance unicycle cruising!
The USHK also recognizes the activities of unicycle hockey and unicycle basketball which take place at different venues in Hong Kong. |
