Animals Asia is working to protect animals from cruelty throughout Asia. Our major campaign to end bear bile farming, the Moon Bear Rescue, involves the rescue of hundreds of bears from cruel bile farms. Our animal-therapy programme, Doctor Dog, operates in 11 Asian cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu in mainland China, showing that dogs are our friends, not food. Professor Paws, where registered therapy dogs visit schools, also runs in these three mainland Chinese cities, as well as in Hong Kong.
