intercountry adoption

Does anyone know how to adopt from Europe as an Australian citizen? Have lived out of AU for over 10 yrs so state rules do not apply. Not married so HK Social Welfare can't help.

Probably the best place for answers would be the Australian Consulate. They should be able to give you info about adoption possibiltiies within Europe for Australians. However, your non-resident status in Australia may cause some difficulty.

There are adoption threads on this site. Not sure about your speciific question though.
