quick question.. if you are in a reaLTIONSHIP BUT ADOPTING AS A SINGLE..SHOULD YOU MENTION IT?

I can honestly say that I don't actually know, however, having completed the adoption process earlier this year (we now have a gorgeous little girl) my opinion is that I absolutely not mention it.

As you have probably discovered by now the process is about ticking boxes. "Have you got this, have you done that" etc.... I think you would be inviting in a world of complication by letting Social Services know that you are involved. I would just keep it simple.

Best of luck. The process is definitely worth it!
