I would like to start a thread on investing outside of property. Can we create a category for this which could include property but mostly stocks, commodities, equities, hedge fund, currencies etc. Cheers.

Prefer not to create a new forum for this - we had a finacial forum in the past and it was slaughtered with IFA's self promoting...

Try starting one on THINK! I tried this a couple of months back and there was minimal interest but feel free to give it a go
