Does anyone know the approximate cost to ship 2 x 25kg dogs to Australia?

Is it worth using an agent or "easy" enough to arrange oneself?

I have read all the blurb on rabies vaccinations, quarantine etc, but not so sure how best to handle the logistics.


Your advice appreciated.

the valley vet also has information. I think the tricky thing is the blood work and up to date evidence of all vacines. You need to have blood taken (or stored) at least 5 months prior to your ETD otherwise the dogs may have to be quarantined in Australia for over 3 months, until quarantine confirms they are clear.


I would use an agent. it is one of those things that requires a lot of forms and bureaucracy and could be a huge headache is you are not familiar with what is required.
