Leptospirosis warning

If you walk your dog around the Peak / Midlevels please be aware that there has been a case of leptospirosis this week believed to be picked up from one of the water sources on Hatton Road (morning trail). Best to keep your dogs away from water. I'm not aware which strain this is - there are 5 strains but vaccines exist only against 4 of those.

Don't panic but just be aware. And if your dog develops any unusual symptoms get to a vet asap.
