You can have as many helpers with you at once provided you can prove to Immigration that you have (a) the finances to pay for them both, and (b) the space to accommodate them. I guess what I'm saying is that the employment of one is a totally independent transaction to the termination of the other. Whether you would want them both there at the same time, though, is another matter. On the other hand you probably also don't want too big a gap when you have no helper.
What nationality is the helper in Singapore? If she's Singaporean then I don't think you can bring Singapore nationals into HK on a FDH visa.

There is no Singaporean FDH! The DH from Singapore are imported from Indonesia, Sri Lanka & Phillipines (predominantly). You have to go through the same process i.e. through HK immigration or use an agent.

She's Filipina, and i only wanted one helper but yeah i wouldn't want to have a long gap in between without a help.

As I guessed. There have been Filipinas working in Singapore as FDHs who have 'transferred' to HK, so it can be done. As far as HK is concerned it doesn't really matter where they actually arrive from, but if you're not fully up to doing the process yourself then it would be best to use an agency to do the processing for you.

I think it is a great idea to hire a helper form Singapore as they will get here and laugh as to how little there is to do in terms of cleaning ie house sizes. I now realise how hard Aida worked in Singapore for us. We had a huge place there and now i HK we live in a tiny shoe box!
