I'm just wondering, are there expats or locals who live by themselves that actually have a DH right now? :)

I don't know any, most singles I know have a part time help for cleaning during week and that's about it.

I've been thinking about hiring a full time one, even though I live alone. Am waiting to move into a larger place before doing it though.

It depends whether you have pets ,entertain a lot ,your budget, working hours ,how much time in/out of HK and needing flat and animals or plants tended, security, how houseproud you are....

I wanted to apply as helper, but I don't want if there's a child to take care of. I love kids, but I believed that it's not enough. Also, are there employers that are willing to hire an inexperienced helper? :) I worked as sales/admin staff here, and proficient in pc operations. That is, I guess not important in hiring a helper. But I know how to do house chores, of course. I just don't know if that will be enough. :(

i think that if you are really in desperate need for a job, you wouldn't choose what you want and don't want, but instead, grab the opportunity and do the best you can. You said you are a sales and admin staff in your country, do you think it is worth it to work abroad and earn around the same amount every month and at the same time be away fromt he people you love?
Please do think carefully about your decision. Good luck.
