Want to Bring our Mainland Aiyee

We live in China and are moving to Hong Kong. Our dh is like family to us and we very much want her to come to HK with us. She has agreed, but how do we make it happen? Can we make it happen? We are willing to go through the necessary paperwork and "trouble" in order to bring her with us. Any advice?

We also wanted to get a DH from China, but as far as I know the immigration regulations do not allow for that any more, but there are exceptional cases where they do allow. Your best bet is to contact the HK immigration directly and give them all the details.

I don't know the regulations but the fact that she already works for you should be an advantage in you pleading your case to the HK immigration board. They might even get you to put down a bond or something like that but if she's as good as you say then you might have some luck.

Good luck, but there is no allowance in HK Immigration laws for PRC citizens to enter HK to work as a DH. In fact I even think it's expressly disallowed.
