Food allowance Posted by jassy67 (78 days ago) Our helper has recently started with us, and we are leaving for a 2 week vacation soon. She eats all her meals with us, so we don't give her a food allowance. What would an appropriate amount be to leave her, while we are away for the 2 weeks? This usually applies to helper who works in Discovery Bay, NT's. Very rarely though. Helpers who normally help our during mahjong sessions the night before were given between 100-200 as extra money during their offs. Posted by Jctom (73 days ago) it depends on your relationship with your dh. you can give her HK$1,000 (i think it's more than enough), then just give you back the remaining when you come back (to be used for marketing, etc.) In this way you will have peace of mind that you have given her enough money for her food allowance. She will be taking care of our cats while we are away. |
