hi evryone.... i'm currently working here as DH.. Last month i just renewed my contract and the immigration officer gave me only 4 months visa because of my passport will expire soon. they said as i renew my passport i need to apply for extension of stay and i need a supporting letter from my employer.


Does anyone know if what should be written in the supporting letter?

I would write something like this: (from the employer's point of view)


Dear Sir, I am (name of employer) and (name of employee) with (HKID# ) is still in my employ under FDH contract # __. Your help is sought to extend her stay in Hong Kong as visa given to her was shortened due to an expiring passport. Thank you.
