Playgroups for my daughter

Hi,

My daughter is 16 months old and is currently attending a play group. However she seems to be the oldest there and is not very interested in following the class (a bit too young for her)

Can anyone please recommend a class that will be more suited to a 16 month old and will help with her development?

You can try Woodlands Pre-schools. They have a playgroup for 18 months and up. Someone (you or helper) must attend with the child.

When my daughter was about this age, I started taking her to a class at Lemon Tree - the one at Royal Ascot. Her teacher Ms. Julie was wonderful and she really enjoyed the classes. They're small and have a variety of age groups. I think at 16m an adult must still attend with the child.

You can try Panda Junction too - my son has been with them for a year now and still loves their mixture of activities.

you can try Helen Doron Early English in CWB. They are very good with that age group

You could also try HK PPA which is a playgroup for mums/dads and children up to preschool age (up to around 3yrs). It's great as they have lots of activities incl painting, playdough, waterplay, sandplay, singalong, snack time and you also get to meet great mums/dads. There's also days when helpers can take your daughter if you can't. It's on Borrett Rd in Mid Levels.
