Woodlands Panda Playgroup at Chi Fu

Hi,I have just moved to HK a month back.My son is 2 yrs old.Can anyone tell me which is a better option-Woodlands Panda Play group or Sunshine Pre School in the Chi Fu area?

Hi Vinitha,

I've got friends whose kids go to Panda and they absolutely love it - i don't think you can go wrong with Woodlands but it's worth checking them both out and seeing what you think.

I tried a Woodlands (not the Chi Fu one) with my 2 year old and we did not get on with it at all - moved to Sunshine House which is fantastic. Pay them a visit and see how it feels to you.

We also tried Woodlands Panda playgroup when my boy was 2. Let's just say both of us were stressed out everytime we went. The teacher was obviously new and so was the supervisor. Neither knew how to handle the kids nor the parents. Then I changed him to Sunshine House next door and he was so happy, he settled down immediately and is now going to school by himself everyday!

Wow, i have only heard good things about Woodlands Panda. I have friends whose children currently attend this playgroup and cant stop raving about it. In fact i am thinking about enrolling my 1 month old for the Wrigglers class. Tell me Vinitha, which one did you pick?

My kids had wonderful time at Woodland Playgroup, Scenic Villas. The teacher there is just FANTASTIC and handles not only the children but also parents queries. She is the one running the school there and is very professional, amicable and ready to help all the time. I believe that she's very dedicated towards her work and it shows. Try that school and you will never regret.

Any idea what is the difference in school fees between these two schools ? Also, are the teachers in Sunshine House native English Speakers ?

My daughter loves woodland although we don't know sunsine. A teacher in Panda in Pok Fu Lam is funtastic. I think that this should be not devendent on the school, but the teacher. If you lives near Pok Fu Lam, please try. You never regret.
