2 girls (4 and 2) need friends in TST

We just moved from California to the Gateway Apartments in Harbour City in TST with our 2 girls (4 1/2 and 2 1/2 years old). They miss their friends back home need some children their age to play with.

If anyone has similar aged children (especially girls - they are a little boy shy) and want to meet in Kowloon Park, the Science Museum, or wherever, please let us know.

Hi there! We are moving from Chicago to HK in June. I have a 4 year old girl and 19 mth old son. My little girl is very outgoing and social and I know the transition will be hard for her (she will surely miss her best little friends!). My husband is in HK this week for business and will begin the relo process. We are not sure where we will be yet. We think Kowloon, Mid-Levels or Repulse Bay might be good options. We have a friend that lived in HK for 5 years with a small child. She told me to check with the YWCA in Central. They offer an English Speaking Members Department and have lots of children's classes and playgroups. Also, I believe the AWA has "newcomers meetings" and that might be a nice place to meet other moms. You probably know all this better than I do...as I'm not even there yet! How do you like Kowloon? I wish I could go and help pick out a place before we decide, but it's all on my husband this time! Please PM or respond if you would like to try to meet-up when we arrive. I will go to TST on wed around 1-1:30pm to toy's r us for a ware house sale at harbour plaza , would you like to meet up with my little girl, she is 18 months old very outgoing, then we just decide afterwards where to go.

Nice, after playgroup we will go straight to Harbour City Bazaar –
3/F World Commerce Centre, TST
(Bazaar entrance – opposite Giordano Ladies Shop 2126) have lunch somewhere there give me a ring at 62005251

There is a playgroup (Parent and Toddlers) at the YMCA - Mon/Thurs 10.15-12.15. It is a drop-in playgroup with free play and singing.
