We have just moved to Clearwater Bay after many years on the island.
I wondered if anyone is interested in sending their one year olds to a playgroup with the helpers?
The idea being that the Helpers take the children to one of our houses and the kids play, the Helpers catch up and it is a good way for them all to get together. I would be happy to hold the first one at our place in Sheung Yeung in Clearwater Bay. I have a 13 month old boy.
Our old playgroup in Pokfulam used to run from 10am - 12pm and had about 6 children. Whoevers house it is at would make some food for the Helpers and kids, so they would have a bit of lunch before going.
We have done this with our older boys and it has worked well. It is great for working parents, but even those parents that don't work and want their kids and Helper to get to know others in the area.
