looking for friends for a 14 mth old

I am a mum of a 14 mth old and would like to know if there is anyone out there who has a baby around the same age who might like to meet up for our babies to play. Also if anyone has a baby this age and can suggest a good playgroup? Thanks!

to Mom too; sorry to have left you out! What are the HKPPA groups like? I am a bit scared of my daughter getting knocked about to be honest as she is quite shy. Are there separate groups for different ages? Where abouts do you live?

to Mary; I know that the HKPPA has a group in Sai Kung as I just got the info from them, not sure if they accept helpers though but you can check.

i would love to meet you.
Your baby can join the Baby buddies(Causeway bay) gymboree (Admiralty) or gymbaroo in HK island for singing & playing. Other Hk playgroup require the kids to be 18 months or older.
There are other cheap playgroups like YMCA/Ywca but I found them too crowded & full of amah/nannies

I live in tuen Mun pier. We are quite close to each other if you're still in Gold coast.
my daughter is 20 months old.

My friend's son (17 months) goes to Baby buddies. she said
it's quite fun.

I go to gymboree with my daughter and I really enjoy the class. The teachers are friendly.

My other friend's daughter (9 months) goes to gymbaroo. She said she loooves the class.

There is a playgroup at the YMCA which is for 0-3 year olds (Mon & Thurs - 10.15 - 12.15), St. Johns Cathedral (Tues & Fri 2.30 - 4.30) & Union Church in Kennedy Road (don't know the times).

My son went to HKPPA until last week (before we moved to Clear Water Bay) and we really appreciated HKPPA philosophy. It is very international, mixed of nationality and local kids.

I whish to find some place similar in in Clear Water Bay.
As a working mum this is one more challenge : find an English playgroup where the helpers are accepted.

We have just moved to Clearwater Bay area (first stop in HK), and I am looking for a playgroup for my 21month old son. I was reading through this website, and saw that you were looking for details last year. Would you be able to point me in th right direction? I too am a working mum.
