PPA (PreSchool and Playgroups Association) run various playgroups at diff locations . It works out at $50 per session so is great value. Ph 2523 2599.

Union Church is just further up from St. Johns Cathedral. It is behind St. Josephs Church at the top of Kennedy Road. There are not so many dads who attends playgroups but the ones that do seem to enjoy themselves and the time they have with their child.

There is also one at the Methodist church in Kennedy rd/Queens Rd East corner in Wan Chai. Mon to Thurs is 9mth to 2 yrs. My husband goes sometimes with our child. Call kathy on 25403345.

The USRC playgroup is tuesdays and fridays, 9.30 - 11.30, $40 for non members. Very friendly, parent run. We get 2 dads that come on a regular basis, it would be nice to see a few more. We have people that come from North Point, DB, Pok Fu Lam, Shatin and CWB, all over in fact. The Club is walking distance from Jordan MTR.

USRC is the U.S. Recreational Club next to Kings Park. I will get the telephone number tomorrow.

Apart from the PPA there are other playgroups:
1. YMCA, TST - 10.15 - 12.15 Mon & Thurs - HK$45

2. St. Johns Cathedral - 2 - 4p.m. - Tues & Fri (about same price)

3. Union Church (not sure of the dates or times) cost not too much (again not sure of exact price)

4. USRC (US Recreational Club) - Jordan Road (near Kings Park) - about HK$40 - Tues & Friday (not sure of the times)

I live in Wanchai so anything nerby would e handy........also would I be the only Dad,not really a big issue just wondering.
