A lot of the Happy Valley kids and mums goto the mums and toddlers at the methodist Churchat the valley end of Queens rd east. It is on most mornings 9.30-11.30 and on Wednesday afternoons it's heleprs and toddlers. Children allowed from 9months up. It is about $100 for a 2 hour session including coffees, teas and juices. It is free play both ina dnout and songs and story at the end.

Have you tried the soft play centre above the wet market? Not really a play group though but my 9mth old loves it.

I don't know the phone number but Methodist Church is on the corner of Queens Rd East and Kennedy RD. The lady who runs it is called Cathy. I would suggest you take a walk down on Monday or Tuesday morning go through the double doors on Queens Rd East and into the hall. just introduce yourself and child and say you would like to join. The mums are a real mix of locals expats and overseas chinese and very fiendly and down to earth-no taitais there, my daughter loved it and it gave me a chance to meet other mums who are still great friends now our kida are 3yrs old! i'll be starting there with number 2 soon myself!
