Playgroup/schools in DB

Hello, my wife and my 20 month old son will be moving to Discovery Bay in April and we were wondering if there were any playgroups happening in DB or close by. I would also appreciate any advice on schools in that area. It seems like an OK place to start up in HK as this will be our first time actually living in HK...Thanks...

There are 3 schools here: Sunshine, DMK (both from PG until K3 - that equals to P1) and DBIS (from Nursery, that is K1, until P6).
Or you can send your child outside DB, but that always requires 40-50 min bus trip.

Pick up a copy of Inside DB (in Central, I've seen it in Mix...or it is everywhwere in DB). In it is a list of all the playgroups. There are a number of good small playgroups run by independent teachers listed in the mag.

DB is a great play to live. I have two 18mth old monkeys who love everyday here. There is no shortage of babes and moms. I am sure that after spending a few days in the plaza your wife will have many friends and all the information she needs! Good luck on your move.
