Looking for families to meet up

We are moving to Ocean Shores in December. Looking for expat families to meet/kids to have a play/lunch/coffee etc...with our 2.5 year old girl.
Is there any one close by that could be interested.

I am moving into Ocean Shores coming February. Wonder if you have any luck with meeting new friends / mommies with kids. Any good playgroups around the area? I have a 17 month old girl, stay home mum.

We have had no luck with meeting new friends at Ocean Shores or any playgroups. The kindergarten downstairs wouldn't accept my daughter..or rather didn't want her as she doesn't speak Cantonese.
I work during week, and my husband is looking after kids at Ocean Shores. Our daughter is desperate to play with some kids!

The facilities at Ocean Shores are wonderful! Let's meet up. My daughter loves other children! She turns 3 in March.

Hi Kazqaz, totally forgot about this thread!

We have moved to Ocean Shores (Tower 16) and agree that the facilities here are fantastic! My daughter goes to the outdoor playground or the playroom depending on the weather (gosh, it is windy here) twice a day. You can bring your daughter to meet us if you wish. Well, most days it is my helper and daughter, but I am sure my daughter would love another play friend. By the way, my daughter is 1.5 years old - you think yours would like a friend who hasn't learnt to talk yet?

I have also enquired in the kindergarten downstairs but in the end, sent my daughter to the YWCA panda playgroup at the side of Ocean Shores. Have you explored this option?
