Hi there, Does anyone know what it's like to live in Bel-Air? It is an apartment complex near Cyberport. I currently live in a towntouse, but my husband, children and I never see our neighbors and we are lonely and a little bored. We know people from the children's school and my husband's office, but we thought living in an apartment complex might give us more social opportunities. Do you think Bel-Air would be a good place for making friends? Thanks.

The people I know who live in Bel-Air had the following to say"

"We’ve actually made loads of friends at Bel Air. Recommend that she goes to various Bel Air organized events such as cheese and wine etc and for the kids there are loads of activities to take part in. I practically never see my neighbours, granted, but we have around 6 couples whom we regard as good friends including several in the same block."

I think you'll get even better social life in Scenic Villa, and lowrise building living style close to your townhouse.

Alternatively, get extreme social life in Disco Bay, even know who is having an affair !

I'm pretty sure they met the couples after they moved in because they knew why I was asking, and they started by saying "we've actually made loads of friends at Bel Air".

- scroll down and click on "Compose a Message"
- scroll down the first drop-down menu and click on L (for me, or the first letter of any name you're writing to)
- scroll down the second drop-down menu and click on "ldavy"

My husband and I currently live in Bel-Air but have no kids. Were moving out next month because the management here aren't very good and they are always complaining. That being said, our friends who live here and have kids love it and wouldn't live anywhere else. They love the kids play room (great for rainy days) and the huge outdoor pool, plus there are lots of kids here.

Hi, we noticed 4 of the computers were not working and the pools and hot tubs seem to be out of service for a month at a time. Is that common? What do the management complain about?We have kids, but if we didn't, maybe we would want to go somewhere quieter. Where we are is too quiet.

Yes, it is common for things to take a long time to get fixed here, the worst being the main drive-way into the place took 8 months to fix! It has only just being fixed. They complain about dogs alot (we have one), leaving things outside your apt eg: shoes, pram etc.
