Get-away property in HK

My wife and I (and 1 year old) are looking for a small place to buy... to get away from the city and into green space.

Ideally, the place doesnt have to be big, <500sq ft is ok, but needs to have either a big roof or garden area and a view of green stuff, not of other buildings. Also, we dont want to spend alot (<1.5M HKD)

Maybe that's asking too much... we've tried Lamma and are thinking about clearwater bay...

Any suggestions on location, property agencies? Any other advice appreciated.

Hi at this time there is a place available here in Sai Kung, 2/floor, 700 sq ft, with roof in good shape with marvelous green mountain views and instant access to trails, though a bit over your budget asking $2.4 (but will negotiate to sell quickly)

a 700sqft village house flat in sai kung country side such as po lo che area the going rate is 1mill and not 2.4 mill.

Yeah but Kens place is 2 floors of 700FT2 each inc the roof top, so it would be a 1400FT2 duplex in total, so 2 million sounds about right for that configuration.

I assume you mean a flat, you won't get a house for 1M. Try the agents in Sai Kung town, there are a few of them, the best way is to go up there and talk to them all.

Hi yes I mean a flat the type that WoDer mentioned on offer. There is some nice little places to rent in Hoi Ha for @ $4K to $5K month and a nice 1st floor unit we had seen near Tai Wan Tau Clear Water Bay Beasch #1 (partial sea view for $1.55M
