Moving to HK

Hi, I'm moving to HK next winter. I will work in a office near central.
Which area should i search for a house?
I know Discovery Bay, nice place, but it seems to me a bit far.

Sorry for the incomplete thread.
I need a flat 1 bedroom, kitchen, living room, 1 bathroom
I have around 10K per month.
I was in DBay many times, time for the ferry is 30/40 mins. every 15 mins day not so frequent during night.

what is your budget? do you want a house or an apartment?

Bezzequti, Discovery Bay is only about 20 minutes from Central by ferry. You won't find a house anywhere which is nearer than that. But do you literally mean a house? You need to give us some idea of your budget and your requirements in terms of space, number of bedrooms, car park etc. before anyone can really give you advice.

they advertise 20 minutes, but i'd figure 25-30...

at rush hours the next one would be in 10-12 minutes

It is 25 mins when you take in the time for 'docking'. You can set your clock by the public transport in HK. So if it says it leaves at 2pm then I have found that is when it leaves. You will not miss it unless you are careless (which I have been once in a while!). In Australia you can't rely on public transport that way.
