Serviced apartments and commission

Hi guys,

Can anyone help/give me some advice?
An estate agent introduced me to a serviced apartment. However, I made the reservation not through the estate agent but through the serviced apartment itself.

Am I liable to pay commission/agency fees to the estate agent?

did you sign any service agreement forms with your agent? If no, then you're not liable to pay.

You're not legally liable if you didn't sign the Estate Agency Agreement. However, there is still a moral obligation. Would you have found the serviced apartment if they agent hadn't introduced you to it?
