Lawyer for Village House Purchase

Just wondering if anyone has used a good lawyer that is familiar with the ins and outs of purchasing a village house. I hear it is not as simple as purchasing an apartment.

you are correct, appointing a lawyer with no village house experience will delay the proceedings perhaps by months, as my brother in law discovered, and he is still paying interest on all the bridging loans he took out to cover that period......and nearly lost the sale because it was taking too long. EDMUND W.H. CHOW & CO. did my village house without any trouble.

where is your village house?
We used a company with an office in Sai Kung and they did a great job.

This is branch office so the lawyears are not there all the time - they have a main office in central. There is a secretary there all the time.

They are situated near the Sai Kung roundabout. Very casual in dress and down to earth. Good price too.

Yes WPCL&co are good to work with Raymond Leung and also Lancelot. Another firm worth mentioning for village house and properties is twchk.com
