Buying a property in Thailand

Hi,

I am currently in the process of purchasing a property in Thailand and I have a number of agreements/contracts that need to be signed.

Does anyone know of a lawyer in Hong Kong that could take a look at the agreements/contracts and ensure they are as they should be??

Is it a condo with foreign-title ownership or something else?

you shoudl make sure you get a Thai lawyer, there are countless stories of things goign wrong in Thailand (from a painful personal experirence!). I'm not sure a HK lawyer woudl be able to offer teh local expertise that you probably need.

www.thaivisa.com has a linked legal group. Certainly there are heaps of people on that forum that could help you with advice.
