Best mortage lender

Hi Guys

Can anyone recommend a good mortgage lender who will provide a 95% loan to purchase a fairly new apartment. Repayments etc is no problem

Definitely recommend Valen Chan branch manager at ICBC in Causeway Bay. He has sorted out my mortgages in the past and helped out my friends when other banks were not so forthcoming and they had complex arrangements. Tel Valen on : 2895-3168. Even if you dont use ICBC, he will give you all the advice you need.

You can also contact mreferral.com mortgage brokers
They have a list of over 60 lending institutions and they are very helpful.

Posters have reported that Bank of China has competitive deals and they are a sufficiently blue-chip alternative to HSBC. Re 95% loan be careful as the bank lender will make their own valuation of the property which may not be = asking price.

Thanks guys

I don't think valuation will be a problem as we know people who have bought in the same complex for higher prices and got there mortgage OK. They are fairly new properties so in good condition etc.
