furnished apartment in HK island

seems to me furnished apartments are not that popular in HK? Planning to move to HK and spend no more than 30k hkd on housing. any advise?

Yes! There are good furnished apartments to let usually from Private Landlords. Try this expat site first..It's Good. (Thats where I advertised mine, & Got a great Tenant)... also, try Square Foot magazine, free at cafes etc, or SCMP Newspaper. You should find a good furn. flat (Small... 400sq ft.with Roof Terrace Garden or 700sq ft without Terrace) in a great central area for around 30K/month... This will be bottom dollar for a nice flat. Try Soho, Elgin, Staunton shelley street area. It's about Restaurants, cafes and you can walk to everywhere. When do you need it? I will have another new Reno ready in about 4 months..

tks gasgal. not in hk so no access to scmp or sqf mag. yeah, i am searching this site as well as other hk property sites. agree with u that this site is pretty helpful comparing to others, though not as much property listings. i plan to move to hk around end of march so now actively looking.
