From Mid-Levels to Sheung Wan

The availability of apartments in Mid-Levels at sub-2.5 million HKD is fast disappearing but just a short distance away in Sheung Wan (and the boundaries are not that clear) there are quite a number of apartments on the market within this lower price bracket. Many require serious refurbishment but are an opportunity to get into a prime area of town at a lower cost. But for how long?

Not long, we have owners from Shelly St. 500' ask for $4.5M now. 370' Kennedy Town $2M. Of course, no one pays $9000/sq.ft. for Sheung Wan at the moment, who knows when?

i just bought a flat in SW (673 sq feet) for 3.35 million.
