Ho Chung or ho hum

Mrs B and I are looking for a nice but reasonably priced Village House (15M or so) in the Clearwater Bay/Sai Kung area. We work in Central and reckon travelling much further than Hebe Haven in one direction or Sheung Sze Wan in t'other is one traffic jam too many. The Ho Chung valley seems nice and quiet, a green view rather than sea view but that's OK. Also good connections to Hebe Haven/Sai Kung restaurants etc.

Can any one recommend other nice, reasonably priced areas in this neck of the woods and any big downsides to Ho Chung we should be aware of?
