Building an internal staircase

I obtained all requisite approvals to do this, the entire process took well over 6 months. The actual work will finally start in 2 weeks.

I am anxious about the dust and debris infiltrating the entire flat, wonder if there are any air filters / purifiers that can assist?

Any other suggestions?

We'll be moving furniture, wrapping up all paintings, checking insurance policy (building being renovated and workers wandering around - hole in the roof could be inviting for a robber), notifying neighbours, etc.

damp sheets will absorb some of the dust.

I'm interested in finding out how you received approval for the internal stairs. Can you please shed some light on this?

I am too looking to get internal stairs put in to my roof. Can you advise on how you got the approval, thanks
