Problem with Serviced Apartment

Hi I need some advice how to handle the situation with my apartment management. I have lived in this serviced apartment for over a year now, contract freshly renewed.
I have the problem that the material from all my chairs is peeling off quite massively. So you can’t sit on them any more without extra cover. I have reported this to the front desk on each month for the last half year, every time someone else is lying to me: “delivery expected, will be fixed soon”. Nothing ever gets done and I feel quite cheated as I pay a considerable amount of rent.
Holding back the rent payment is not an option, they will block the door in return.
Any one else has this problem? Any advice

Sounds like you've been too patient with the wrong people. Go higher up the chain of command - start with the general manager of the hotel - and make a pest of yourself.

Surely they can move furniture in better condition from another apartment until the replacement furniture arrives?
