Well in Hong Kong, you have the most sophisticated property buyers in the world, and they will first look at that indication (price per sf or square meter) - as sensible people do IMHO.
No point in getting into "romance", until you know how much you are paying for it.
Leave that for the truly rich, for whom "price is no object" - you can probably find them best through the big agents, who will be driven by the fat commissions to sell the "romance" part of the story.
