Polished concrete

Hi All;


I am trying to achieve a polished concrete bathroom for a client but my contractor is saying it's not a good material to do in the bathroom due to cracking & waterproofing issues. I am thinking perhaps it's a certain tradesman that is required for this.


Anyone have a contractor that they can recommend who has done this for you ?


Anyone got any stories to share on waterproofing issues for polished concrete ?

If the client does not mind grout lines, there are tiles that will give the same look of concrete. Tiles come in standard 60cmx60cm and 30cmx60cm.

waterproofing:
every type of floors should be needed waterproofing if you do mind the below neighbour complaint you in the future time. it is the responsibilities issue in fact.
the grade and installation material for waterproofing material are the another question indeed.
