A new Belgian place has opened up on Stanley Street - has anybody tried it yet? Is it worth checking out?

Its really good, and not too expensive, you could try for lunch, HK$98, for 3 courses. They have a very typical belgian menu, moules, done in 5 different sauces, sourced from Australia, a very tasty French Onion Soup, huge 750 gram roasted pork knuckle, the best fish and frites ! seriously good, all fish and very light batter. Would reserve as its been packed every day, its a light airy place, with long bench type seating, so can be a bit impersonal, if you are a couple, but you can sit at the bar. The beer menu is fabulous. If they maintain standards this will be a good place to frequent !

I liked the food there, altho the portion is a bit small (and I don't even eat a lot), but quality is good. Waiters are a bit...not the smartest, but the manager seems nice and attentive. Decor is nice, very relaxing, casual, and the benches are perfect for 4,5 friends sit around and bullsh*t over a couple of beers. Wide variety of beers too.
To go there, go to H&M, take the side street next to it and walk up one block towards lynnhurst terrace.

Yes it's called 'Frites' - as a big fan of Belgian cuisine and beer...beer and whole atmosphere is great there, food is ok maybe I had a higher expectation. They benchmarked Belgo in London...you will see some similarity in the menu etc.
