Wedding venue for an intimate celebration

I'm trying to find a restaurant on the Hong Kong side to hold a private function for approximately 30 people in May.

We don't want a restaurant within a hotel and a great menu list is a high priority.

I really want the night to be memorable but I'm starting to panic since either the menu, price or venue of the places we've researched do not meet our requirements.

Please make some suggests. It would be greatly appreciated.

Went to a place where the food and service was really good, great menu, it's not on the island though, it's called Hebe 101, up near sai kung, and we ate on the rooftop, reckon you could get 30 people up there, terrific views of the bay. The Restaurant manager told me that theyd had 3 proposals up there.

It might be a bit too far for some of the guests - especially after they get drunk - but I would definitely go there for dinner sometime soon :-)

I googled The Box at IFC and it looks great. Judging by the photos, it doesn't look too big either. I think we will try there for dinner one night this week.

I had my post wedding lunch there ( actually wedding in NZ) and it is great. you can have the whole place for yourself at a reasonable price if you are doing lunch. If you want to have dinner reception it will be more expensive as you have to cover their bar cost.

I have around 50 people last time and everyone was impressed by it.
