My favourite, which is known as one of the best amongst locals (and also where you see some names hang out) is called Hot Pot Restaurant on Hillwood Road in Jordan. Food is very fresh but you will need friends who can read and speak Cantonese unless you can do so yourself.

Spring Autumn Restaurant on Leighton Road specialises in hot pot. Otherwise, you can try Little Sheep in Causeway Bay Plaza 2 for something cheap and cheerful. Other alternative is Japanese hotpot (shabu shabu or sukiyaki).

evildeeds, whereabout on hillwood road is Hot Pot Restaurant at? closer to Nathan or the other side? and do they have Sichuan spicy soupbase?
