Am going for dinner tomorrow night, has anyone been already and sampled his food? Any good?
Also, in general, is Olive a good restaurant?

I went around 6month ago, quite liked the food & ambience.. a little pricey though.

Just to follow up - went to Olive last night. Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere. Was with a group of 6, we order almost every item on the menu. Definitely pricey, much more than I'd be willing to pay on an ordinary night, but highly recommended if the price isn't an issue. I'm going to go back, very soon.
Tip: go a little earlier, rather than later. The waiters are more friendly, less rushed, and the atmosphere is nicer. Also, request the table by the window, it's a great spot.

I've been there three times - it was excellent the first time, pretty awful the second, and excellent again the third.

I love Greek/Middle Eastern food and love MoMo (Malouf's Melbourne restaurant). There's no doubt Olive is cut below MoMo, but it's also much cheaper! It's main problem appears to be it's consistency - if you get it on a good night (which by all accounts is most nights) it's great, but sometimes the food and service can be pretty off.

Would still definitely recommend it to people though.
