Private Room for B-day Party

Organizing a b-day party and would like to find a restaurant that has a private room that can accomodate up to 20/25 people. Ideally in Central, Wanchai or CWB area. Menu should be affordable and no more than $250/300 per person (a bunch of non-finance friends attending). Type of food doesn't matter.

Yau Kwat Hei hotpot in CWB has lots of large private rooms. Hotpot is always fun for a big group -- it's cheap and everyone can muck in and cook their own bits and pieces. YKH has branches all over HK.

Next to Buddha Bar - there's a new place called Second Level. They have a cool private room on the second floor

Jason Pan, check out HK's best eatery & bar www.jiahotel.com - Opia wins hands down, we dined there last week.

Overall, I have to rate this in the top ten dining experiences around the globe. Paul the waiter provided "first class service" which is hard to come by in this part of the world.

Dean the head chef (from Australia, of course) found the right mix resulting in exquiste food, freshness and taste!!!

Agree with you, the private room is great for parties and seems to be always occupied (esp. weekends), so might be a good idea to book well in advance.
