There was a good seafood buffet, then a dimsum buffet and Thai buffet then a couple of generic asian dishes - all mains...one or 2 soups, a carving station and then what looked like a fabulous dessert buffet. Frequent replenishment and not with always like for like dishes either. If there was a group of friends on a saturday afternoon, it would be alright...you need to book well ahead though.
Sorry this isn't helping you with your Xmas enquiry though. Madison's has a Christmas Day brunch that looks nice - good choice of mains and hs unlimited sparklng wine.. I am contemplating what to do for Xmas eve...currently leaning towards the terrace at Costa in Lane Crawford. More intimate and cheaper than Isola (but same Chef).
