If one talks about beef brisket in Hong Kong, one surely means Kau Kee restaurant on Gough St. in Central.

The beef brisket in clear or curry soup is as divine as the restaurant is dirty and the service atrocious.

This is the closest shop I've ever been to that is like the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld. And you know what? I keep coming back and so do others despite the rudeness because it's THAT good.

agree with bunsenb. I have tried a lot on the island and kowloon and this place if the best. Busy all day and night.
